Modern Day Dragon Boat Racing

Dragon Boat Racing is now practiced all over the world. The International Dragon Boat Federation has a US Federation governing Dragon Boat Racing in the United States which, due to the popularity has three divisions (East, Central and West)

Dragon Boat Racing at other events

Boat Racing is included in the World Fire Fighters Games, scheduled to be in Hong Kong in 2006 and the CanAm Police Fire Games has included it in its 2006 program in Louisiana.

AZDBA members have been to California, Hawaii, Taipei, Hong Kong and Malaysia to take part in events. This is a sport that originated in the East and spread to the corners of the globe.
